The BT DECT (digital enhanced cordless telecommunications) series of phones are designed to work with the BT phone service. BT provides various broadband broadcast phone, television and mobile services to subscriber in the United Kingdom. BT provides phone service to BT DECT phone through a broadband-connected line. BT DECT phones all have their own set of specific features, but each phone shares the same basic functions. The basic instructions for the BT DECT phones are fairly straightforward.

    Press the "R" button on the phone headset to turn it on or off.

    Press the "Phone" button to initiate a dial tone in order to make a call.

    Press the "Phone" button to send a call and to end a call.

    Press the "Phone" button to answer a call.

    Press the "Up/Down" arrow buttons to increase or decrease the phone volume.

    Press the "Redial" button to redial the last call number. The phone automatically saves the last five numbers. Use the "Up/Down" arrow buttons to scroll through the numbers on the display to redial the desired number.
