A Whirlpool Duet series washing machine is a fully electronic washer. The digital display on the Whirlpool Duet washer, at times, will display an error code to alert you of a problem with the washer. An F28 error code is a common problem that means there is a communication problem with the central control unit. This problem is generally solved by essentially rebooting the control unit. Rebooting the control unit is accomplished in less than 10 minutes, even by the novice.
