Alltel Wireless is a cellular service provider. Alltel offers customers three prepaid options, including Pay-Per-Minute, Pay-Per-Day and Pay-Per-Month. Alltel makes checking your account's balance easy by phone and online. If you check your account online using Alltel's "My Prepaid," you also can modify your personal Alltel profile, view account activity and replenish your account by using a debit or credit card.

Turn on your Alltel Wireless prepaid cell phone. Once it's finished loading, dial *369 on the keypad and the call button. You'll have your current balance sent as a text message or you'll hear a recorded voice tell you over the phone.
Call 800-335-6401 from a landline phone if you don't want to use your cellphone or it's dead. This will not work from your cellphone.
Listen to the options presented and press "1." After hearing your balance, you can hang up.

Locate the "Log In" box. Click "Prepaid" and click "Register Now." If you've previously registered for Alltel's "My Prepaid," skip to Step 4.
Read the instructions and answer any questions Alltel asks by using the supplied text fields. You'll need text messaging to get the registration code. After receiving it, enter it into the appropriately labelled box on the Alltel Wireless registration page.
Log in to "My Prepaid" and look for your account balance. Examine the available links and options if you'd like to check and manage your account further. For example, you can see who you've called and taken calls from by checking your account activity.
