How to Reset a Bd-P1500 Blu-Ray Player

The Samsung BD-P1500 Blu-ray player plays both DVDs, Blu-ray DVDs and CDs. It offers full 1080p HD resolution and supports HDMI (high definition multimedia interface) for strong signal fidelity. Additionally, it provides an Ethernet connection so that you can download firmware updates directly. If you want to change any of the settings you have saved, you can reset the BD-P1500 to its original factory default settings.

Press and hold down the "Power" button on the Samsung BD-P1500 Blu-ray player.

Verify that there are no discs inside the Blu-ray player.

Press the "Search/Skip" button for 5-10 seconds until you see it restore itself to its default factory settings. A menu should appear on the screen to confirm that you have reset the BD-P1500 Blu-ray player.
