Your Bosch dishwasher features a control panel with several LED lights which indicate the current status and set-up of the appliance. LED lights come on when the dishwasher is cleaning, when you are programming a wash cycle and when the appliance is in standby mode. The LED lights won't come on when the appliance is switched off or not receiving power. Fixing the LED lights will mean restoring power to the dishwasher.

  1. 1

Test the dishwasher's electrical socket with a lamp; the outlet isn't receiving electricity if the bulb doesn't light. Check the power switch for the dishwasher, if fitted, within the electrical socket or on the wall behind your kitchen counter.

  2. 2

Replace any blown fuses or tripped breakers in your home if the outlet is switched on but not supplying electricity. You might notice other appliances on the same circuit stop working when a fuse blows or a breaker trips.

  3. 3

Hit the "On/Off" button on the dishwasher's control panel. Many Bosch dishwashers can be turned off via the power button without switching off the electrical socket.

  4. 4

Unlock the dishwasher's control panel. Some Bosch dishwashers come with a child lock that prevents kids from starting the dishwasher by accident. Cancel the lock by downing the "Lock" or padlock icon button for a few seconds.
