Vodafone Mobile Connect provides Vodafone customers in the United Kingdom with Internet access through a cell phone or mobile device. After signing up for Vodafone Mobile Connect and receiving the software and data card package, setting up the system is a straightforward process that takes only a few minutes. Load the Vodafone Mobile Connect software onto the PC and then insert the data card into your cell phone or mobile device.

Insert the supplied software CD into the CD drive on the front of the personal computer or side of the laptop. The software will start and load automatically. Follow the on-screen installation instructions. Wait for the software installation process to complete. Press "Restart" to restart your computer when prompted to do so during the installation.
Insert the Vodafone SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card into the SIM slot on your mobile device. Put the SIM card in the right way round, so that the gold tabs on the SIM connect with the contact points inside the slot on the device.
Turn on the computer and wait for it to start. Double-click the "Vodafone Mobile Connect" desktop icon from the main desktop screen on your computer. Follow the on-screen instructions and enter information into the dialogue box when prompted. The program will automatically set up the mobile device to access the Internet.
Change the set-up of the mobile device, if necessary, by accessing "Manage Devices" from the file menu on the Vodafone Mobile Connect user screen. For example, use this function to switch between a home or office wireless Internet connection and cell phone network Internet connection.
