How to Disable a Built-in Frigidaire Freezer Alarm

Many models of frigidaire freezers include a temperature alarm that monitors the internal temperature of the freezer. The alarm will sound if the temperature drops to the point where your food is in danger of thawing. Frigidaire gives you the option to enable the alarm or disable it altogether with the touch of a button. When you choose to disable the alarm, you should periodically check the freezer to ensure that the freezer is cooling properly.

Locate the freezer alarm switch, located on the right-hand side of the grille on the bottom of the freezer.

Press the bottom of the switch to move it into the "Off" position.

Press the top of the switch to move the switch back to the "On" position at any time to re-engage the alarm.
