Replacing the air vents on your 1998 Volkswagen Passat is a simple task. Each air vents on your Passat is held in place by a single clip that can be removed with a screwdriver. Once the clip is removed, you can pull the air vent out of the vehicle and install a replacement vent. To access the air vents next to the radio, you will need to remove the central dash bezel. This will require the use of a Phillips screwdriver.
