Changing the oil in your car regularly will increase its lifespan. One way to save money on this project is to do the job yourself. The process is very simple and can be done in your driveway with some common tools. The only specialised tool you require is an oil filter wrench. This is used to loosen the oil filter from its housing. Making your own oil filter wrench is easy with an old leather belt.
