How to Remove a Roland SP300V Print Head

The Roland SP300V printer and cutter is a large, industrial-size printer that resembles a plotter in appearance and function. The Roland utilises a print head that slides back and forth on small rollers to create images. If the print head goes out you will have to remove it for servicing, a process that takes around 30 minutes.

  • Phillips screwdriver

    Unplug your Roland SP300V.

  2. 2

    Remove the screws on the back that hold the case in place, using a Phillips screwdriver. Gently pull the case off.

  3. 3

    Remove the screws that fasten the print head to the track. Lift the print head up and out of the machine.
