How to Swap Out a Seamaster Bezel

Seamaster makes durable sporty watches designed for outdoor conditions. Part of what makes these timepieces durable is that they feature a circular bezel (frame) around the watch face. If you need to disassemble your Seamaster in order to diagnose problems or replace parts, you will need to remove this bezel.

  • Flathead jeweller's screwdriver

Instructions

  1. 1

    Remove the watch and locate the circular metal bezel around the face of the watch.

  2. 2

    Insert the tip of a small jeweller's screwdriver in the seam where the bezel meets the face of the watch.

  3. 3

    Work your way around the watch, gently prying up on the bezel as you go. Continue until the bezel completely pops off the face of the watch.

  4. 4

    Fit a new bezel in the old one's place and press down on each side until it pops securely in place.
