Create a costume that gives the illusion that you are missing a section of your middle section. You can modify these steps and apply them to turn yourself into a monster, woman, nurse, doctor or any other character with a gaping hole in his stomach.
Connect a digital camera capable of videotaping large segments of time to a portable DVD player with an 8 to 9-inch LCD screen.
Place Velcro strips along the back of each device. Put on a plain white T-shirt. Attach strips of Velcro to the front and back of the T-shirt at about the middle of your back and stomach. Attach the camera to your back and the DVD player to your stomach. Use painter's tape or masking tape to further secure the player to your stomach by wrapping tape around the edges of the player and your torso.
Put a white sweatshirt on over your T-shirt and devices. Make a mark with a pen or pencil where the devices are on either side. Have someone help you mark the back if necessary. Roughly trace the outline of the devices. Take off the sweatshirt and T-shirt with devices.
Cut a jagged hole in the front of the sweatshirt that is two inches smaller in length and width than the DVD player. Use scissors to cut a small hole in the back of the sweatshirt, large enough to expose the lens of the digital camera.
Paint the edges of the hole on the front of the sweatshirt with red paint. Make a stream or swath of red paint beneath the hole to give the appearance of bleeding down the front. If desired, you may modify this costume by purchasing a muscle toned chest costume shirt and cutting holes in it. Paint the holes with red-coloured paint in the same manner to give the appearance f not just a hole through a sweatshirt but actual muscles and flesh.
Allow the sweatshirt to dry. Put on the costume and test the connection to make sure the camera correctly feeds images of what is behind you to the DVD player screen on your stomach.
