Princess Jasmine is the beautiful and enchanting love interest of Aladdin in the Disney movie of the same name. While there are many Jasmine costumes available for purchase, you can create your own Jasmine costume at home with a few craft store purchases and clothes you may already have in your closet. You can make this costume to fit young and mature princesses alike. Create a sexy Jasmine look by using a bikini top, or tone down the sexiness by using a fuller coverage sports bra or tankini top.

Things you need
- Bright blue sports bra, bikini or tankini top
- Blue knit trousers or sweatpants
- Measuring tape
- Sheer blue fabric
- Gold fabric trim
- Craft glue
- Needle and thread
- Gold headband
- Long satin gloves
- Gold ballet flats or sandals
Put on the sports bra, bikini or tankini top and measure the distance around the bottom of the top with a measuring tape. Measure the distance from the bottom of the top to the middle of your hips.
Cut a piece of the sheer blue fabric to these measurements, remove the top and stitch the fabric all the way around the inside bottom of the top with needle and thread. This creates a flowing sheer panel to cover your stomach.
Stitch or glue the gold fabric trim to the neckline and bottom hem of the sports bra, bikini or tankini top. Stitch or glue the trim to the waistband and ankle hems of the blue knit trousers or sweatpants.
Place the headband on your head and hold a piece of sheer fabric in front of your face just under your nose. Place one end of the fabric on one side of the headband just over your ear, let it drape slightly across your face and meet the other side of the headband. Make a small cut mark where the fabric touches the other side of the headband and where it hits the middle of your chest.
Cut the sheer fabric piece where marked. Glue the gold trim along the edges of the fabric piece and let dry. Glue the upper corners of the fabric piece to each side of the headband to create a classic harem mask.
Put on the top, bottoms, headband and gold ballet flats or sandals. Cut the hands off the gloves and slide them up onto your arms so they hit a few inches below your shoulders to create detached sleeves.
Tuck a piece of sheer fabric into the top and bottom of each sleeve all the way around to create sheer harem sleeves and your Jasmine costume is complete.
