Children can see the Transformers movie, cartoon and action characters on school backpacks, lunch boxes and other items, making it a growing party theme. Many pre-printed invitations are available on the market, but thoughtful, handmade invitations can become cherished keepsakes from your special occasion. Save both time and money by designing your own Transformers party invitation. Set the tone for a one-of-a-kind party. Gather a few supplies and you can create a memorable way to invite guests to your party.

  1. 1

Pick your favourite Transformers character for the front of your party invitation, like Galvetron or Bumble Bee. Cut out the shape of the Transformer's mask for the invitation cover, and use that as a template to make as many invitations you need. Glue a Transformers picture to the front of a blank card if you do not want to cut out the invitations.

  2. 2

Decorate the front of the invitation. Cover the mask with coloured card stock, markers or foil paper to look like the Transformer.

  3. 3

Write out the wording for your invitation. Include the event date and time, location, and the child's age if it is a birthday party. Be as creative or as simple as you like. For example, you could write, "Help the Autobots defeat the Decepticons at Billy's house on March 7th at 3:00 P.M. Pizza and cake will be served."

  4. 4

Print the wording in your home office and glue it inside the invitation, or write out each invitation by hand.

  5. 5

Assemble the invitations and add a Transformers sticker or stamp on the back of the envelope.
