Golf companies continue to push cutting edge technology in their products. Adidas, one of the major brands in golf shoes, now offers their own option of designing your own golf shoe. Adidas offers hundreds of shoes in a variety of sports that you can design for yourself. Specifically, they offer the men's mi Powerband 3-0 which retails at £117.00. Adidas offers over 75 shoes in women's versions, however, at this time they do not offer any golf shoes that women can design.

Skill level:

  1. 1

Visit a local golf shop with an adidas account. Speak with the golf shop merchandiser about designing your golf shoes. The merchandiser will have knowledge of past and current shoe styles. They are also familiar with how to design shoes with adidas. They will place the order for you and adidas can drop ship the shoes to your house or you can pick them up at the golf shop.

  2. 2

Customise your shoes based on the correct size, comfort and colours. Visit the adidas website to begin designing your shoes. Create an account with adidas to begin the process. Remember, this is a custom order. When the order is complete you will not have the option of changing or cancelling the order.

  3. 3

Coordinate your shoes to match your school colours or favourite sports team. This is a great feature for high school and college golf teams. Taylor Made currently owns adidas. Teams will have the option of matching all of their golf equipment and uniforms. This includes shoes, shirts, hats, trousers and golf bags. All equipment can be designed to match team colours.

  4. 4

Personalise your shoes with your name or favourite logo. Show your support by personalising your shoe with your nation's flag. You can also add your favourite professional sports team or collegiate logo. Embroider your name, nickname, team, club, etc. on the back of the shoe. If you look at many PGA and LPGA Tour Professionals you will notice they have used the personalisation option on their golf shoes.

Tips and warnings

  • Not all country flags or professional sports team and collegiate logos are available if you choose to personalise your shoe.
