The International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number, is a 15- or 17-digit code to identify GSM and other mobile phones. The IMEI number identifies the specific mobile phone used on a specific mobile network. The Samsung D900 was a typical mobile phone with features such as e-mail and text messaging. The D900 has since been discontinued. The IMEI number is beneath your Samsung D900 battery on a white label. If you need to change the IMEI on a Samsung D900, you must download a special software program.

Skill level:

  1. 1

Download and unzip Sunday Unlocking Software (see Resources).

  2. 2

Connect your Samsung D900 USB cable to an USB port on your PC.

  3. 3

Launch Sunday Unlocking Software. Access your "Start" menu, click "All Programs," then click "Sunday Unlocking Software." Wait for the software to detect your Samsung D900.

  4. 4

Click the "Change IMEI" button to change the IMEI on a Samsung D900. Sunday Unlocking Software changes your old IMEI and replaces it with a new IMEI number.

  5. 5

Write down your new IMEI number and put it in a safe spot to remember it.
