Netsweeper is an Internet content filter used in educational institutions, businesses and homes. Parents can use Netsweeper to control the sites their child visits, the time they spend on the Internet and applications they use, such as instant messaging. There may be times when you don't need Netsweeper operating. You can get past it by disabling it through the settings.
Click "Start" and select "Control Panel."
Click "Filter Settings." If you are prompted for a password, enter the password you used when you registered Netsweeper.
Uncheck the "Enable Filter" check box in the Filter Settings window. Click the "X" in the top right corner to close the window.
