Reset Procedures for the Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher

Fisher & Paykel may be a lesser-known home appliance brand than Maytag or Whirlpool, but the company manufactures many of the same products, including washers, dryers, refrigerators and dishwashers. Fisher & Paykel dishwashers are available in single and double units and a variety of sizes and finishes. While the Fisher & Paykel dishwasher typically operates well, problems may occasionally arise. To correct these problems, you may be required to reset the dishwasher, which is a fairly simple operation to perform.

Press and hold the button decorated with the key and lock image for five seconds.

Press the power button to turn off power to the Fisher & Paykel dishwasher.

Wait a few minutes and then press the power button to restore power.

Turn off and unplug the dishwasher if the issue remains.

Wait five minutes and restore power to the unit.
