How to Reset SonicWALL Pro 3060

If your SonicWall Pro 3060 firewall experiences an irreversible error, or if you forget your administrative account information, you need to reset it. Resetting the firewall will restore everything to its original factory default. This means that you will have to access the firewall and reconfigure it again. Resetting the SonicWall should fix the majority of problems you may be having.

    Unplug all the network cables from the SonicWall and push the "On/Off" switch to turn the device off.

    Press and hold the "Reset" switch on the back of the SonicWall and switch the power to the "On" position.

    Release the "Reset" button when the "Test" LED flashes.

  4. 4

    Reconfigure your firewall as you did the first time through the SonicWall web interface, at http://192.168.168.200, once the "Test" light stops flashing and stays lit.
