Things you need
- Scorpion exhaust
- Metal hacksaw
- Socket set
- Socket driver
Remove the bolts attaching the existing exhaust to the motorcycle's body with a socket driver. Set aside the bolts and collector attachment bracket for later use.
Remove the existing exhaust with a metal hacksaw, approximately 1 3/4 inches above where the exhaust is welded.
Slide the extension pipe onto the motorcycle's exhaust pipe.
Slide the locking collar over the extension pipe to the point where the pipes meet.
Tighten the collar in place by tightening its bolt with a socket driver.
Slide another collar over the extension pipe.
Slide the collector over the end of the extension pipe.
Slide the loose collar over the collector where it meets the extension pipe.
Secure the collar in place by tightening its bolt with a socket driver.
Hold the collector attachment bracket in place over the collector and thread the original exhaust's bolts through the screw holes.
Tighten the bolts in the collector attachment bracket with a socket driver.
