Released by Touchstone games in 2008, "Turok" is a first-person shooter that centres on survival against dinosaurs and human enemies in a lush jungle-themed environment. In some cases, users may receive a general protection fault (GPF) error when they try to play this game. GPF errors occur when a stop code interrupts a process instruction from completing. When a damaged or invalid instruction is sent to the processor, a stop code will be returned to prevent a continuously looping error from crashing your computer. Troubleshoot the Turok GPF error by updating your software, then reinstalling the game and running it with administrative privileges.
