The Silver Surfer is one of the most iconic characters of the Marvel Universe. Created in the late 1960s by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, he remains a popular character today and was a featured character in 2007's "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer." Making a Silver Surfer costume is an easy process, but can be time-consuming and potentially expensive.

Things you need

  • Muscle shirt
  • Silver spandex suit
  • Ballet shoes
  • Silver liquid latex
  • Bald wig
  • Surfboard
  • Silver paint

    Paint the ballet shoes and surfboard silver.

    Put on the muscle shirt. The Silver Surfer is traditionally very strongly muscled and few people have the definition to truly look like a superhero in spandex.

    Put on the spandex suit.

    Put on the bald wig. Unless you have a shaved head, the liquid latex used in later steps will stick to your hair.

    Apply liquid latex to your head, face and hands.

  6. 6

    Allow the latex to dry.

  7. 7

    Put on your silver shoes. You should be covered from head to toe in silver and have a silver surfboard.
