Accessing the BIOS chip on your Dell Latitude D410 laptop computer involves using a special keyboard command. The BIOS access program is not part of your operating system, but is instead the main program that controls your computer. Because of this, you can't get to it from Windows --- you'll need to unlock the BIOS while your computer is loading up. You cannot unlock it any other time.
