Wreaths add a feeling of warmth and welcome to decorations. Wreaths are common during the holidays, and they are usually made either of real leaves and cones, or of materials that look like the real thing. However, many people also like to create wreaths that are more stylised, such as a fabric wreath stuffed with cotton. Some people make small versions of these wreaths and hang them from trees as ornaments. Creating a fabric wreath is quite simple, and does not even require a pattern.

Choose a material for your wreath that works for the purpose. For example, something green with red berries and leaves on it would be effective.
Cut a length of material equal to the circumference you want for your wreath. Fold the material over and sew the edge to form a tube.
Bend a bit of wire (you could cut something from a coat hanger) into a circle. Slide the fabric tube over the wire, then twist the ends of the wire together.
Stuff the tube with cotton and sew the ends of the tube together. Tie a ribbon bow over the seam.
