How to print 2x2 photos with freeware

Printing photographs to a certain physical size is dependent on the image resolution of your original image. There is a wide variety of image editing software available on the Internet and to buy, but you can perform basic resizing tasks with built-in tools. This keeps you from needing to download any freeware to perform the tasks you want to do. You can resize an image easily in Paint and then print it with the Windows Live Photo Gallery.

    Click "Start" and then click "All Programs." After that click "Accessories" and then "Paint."

    Press and hold "Ctrl"and then the "o" key. Locate the image you want to resize.

    Click the "Image" button, then "Resize." Deselect "Maintain aspect ratio" if you want to resize the original image into the new parameters.

    Click "Pixels." Change the "Horizontal" and "Vertical" to equal the same size. Click "File," then "Save."

    Locate the saved image on your computer. Double click it. Click "Print." Click "Preferences." Change the paper size to a 50mm by 50mm (2 by 2 inch). Click "OK" and then "Print."
