The Proform 525Si is a folding treadmill designed for regular home use. One of the primary components of the treadmill is the walking belt. If this belt should ever become damaged or broken, it will need to be replaced in order for the treadmill to operate correctly. Operating the treadmill with a damaged belt could result in injury.

- Philips screwdriver
Unplug the power cord from the electrical socket.
Fold the treadmill up to the raised position.
Remove the four screws on the bottom of the hood. Lower the treadmill to the open position.
Lift up on the right and left sides of the plastic hood that covers the motor. Remove the hood.
Lift up on the inside edge of each deck side cover to unsnap it from the base. Remove the side covers and set them aside.
Loosen the bolts that hold the front rollers in position. Lift the rollers up and out of the motor assembly.
Loosen the bolts holding the rear rollers in place. Lift up the rear rollers. The walking belt should now be loose enough to slide off.
Slide the belt off of the deck and rollers on either side.
Slide the new belt onto the deck.
Reposition the front and rear rollers. Tighten the bolts that hold the rollers in position.
Replace the side deck covers. Press down on them until they snap into place.
Replace the motor hood. Fold the treadmill to the upright position. Replace the four screws that hold the hood in place.
