PDF OCX is a Visual Basic 6 add-on that allows you to easily convert documents in many file formats to PDF files. Made by Skysof Software, PDF OCX presents a simple interface in which the click of a button will run the commands automatically. Converting a PDF through PDF OCX is simply a matter of installing the program properly.

Download and run the PDF OCX installer if you have not already (see Resources).
Open Visual Basic 6.
Right-click on the toolbox (vertical bar of buttons), and select "Add/Remove Items."
Select PDF OCX. By default it is installed in this folder: C:\Program Files\SkySof Software Inc.
Click the appropriate button from the box that pops up. You can convert to PDF from Excel, Word, text, an image, and many more.
Select the document you wish to convert, and click "Open." PDF OCX will create the PDF and save it in the same folder as the original.
