The Radio Card is a key item introduced in "Pokemon Gold," "Silver" and "Crystal." It is an upgrade to the PokeGear, and allows the trainer to tune in to various programs broadcast from the Radio Tower in Goldenrod City by moving a slider across a number line. Channels ranging from 0 to 20.5 correspond to specific programs. For example, channel 7.5 will play "DJ Ben's Pokemon Music." The radio screen on the PokeGear displays the program's name and receives the transmission through the dialogue box.
