While it isn't possible to use a standard PC keyboard on a BlackBerry, you can use a PC sized keyboard made specifically for PDAs and Smartphones. The USB port on a BlackBerry is not powered, so you can't use a PC keyboard with a standard USB connector, even if you have an adaptor with the right kind of connector. However, there are options for a standard sized USB keyboard for the BlackBerry, the Man-Machine CoolMIR USB keyboard.

Browse to the URL listed in the quick start guide (see the link under Resources) with the BlackBerry's browser.
Select the link for your BlackBerry and click "Get Link." Follow the prompts on the BlackBerry to download the software.
Go to the main screen on the phone and click the "Keyboard" icon, then click "View." Click the "Menu" button on the BlackBerry, then select "Save."
Return to the main screen and look for the "CoolMIR" icon. Click the icon, then select "Turn CoolMIR On." The status bar on the bottom of the screen will read "CoolMIR is On."
Plug the USB cord for the keyboard into the USB port on the BlackBerry. Turn the keyboard on by pressing the "Power" button on the bottom left side of the keyboard.
Enter your BlackBerry password if prompted, then hit the "Enter" button on the keyboard.
