Whether you want to be the king of the jungle as a lion, or monkey around as a chimp, there are lots of jungle animals to pick from when it comes to dressing up. You don't have to spend a lot of time and money making a costume, there are many cheap and easy ways to dress up as a jungle animal.

- For the lion:
- Yellow hooded top
- Yellow jogging bottoms
- Yellow socks
- 2 foot by 2 inch yellow fun fur material, 2 pieces
- Brown fabric pen
- For the tiger:
- Orange hooded top
- Orange jogging bottoms
- Orange slippers
- 2 foot by 2 inch orange fun fur material
- Orange felt
- Black fabric pen
- For the monkey:
- Black hooded top
- Black jogging bottoms
- Black shoes
- 2 foot by 2 inch black material
- 1 foot pipe cleaner
Fold one 2 foott by 2 inch piece of yellow fun fur material in half, so it measures 1 foot by 2 inches. Sew the two sides together, making sure the furry side of the fabric is on the outside. Colour two inches of the end that was folded with the brown fabric pen on both sides. Sew the other end to the centre of the seat of the jogging bottoms.
Sew the other 2 foot by 2 inch piece of fun fur to the front edge of the hood on your top. If the material is too long, just cut off the excess. The furry side of the material should be facing the front -- this is your mane.
Paint your face yellow using face paints. Paint a triangle black nose and black whiskers.
Put the yellow top and bottoms, including attached tail, on; pull up your hood and arrange your mane around your face. Wear your yellow socks.
Draw a 1-inch thick horizontal line across the bottom of the front of the orange hooded top. Leave two inches orange above it, then draw another line. Repeat until the front of the top is full of stripes, then repeat on the back of the top and the jogging bottoms.
Fold the 2 foot by 2 inch orange fun fur material in half, so it measures 1 foot by 2 inches. Sew the two sides together, making sure the furry side of the fabric is on the outside. Draw a 1-inch-thick stripe near the folded end with the fabric pen. Leave two inches orange, then draw another line. Repeat until both sides of the material are covered with stripes. Sew one end to the centre of the seat of the jogging bottoms.
Cut two 2-inch-high triangles out of the orange felt. Sew them onto the hood of your orange top in the position where the tiger's ears should be.
Paint your cheeks white and the rest of your face orange using face paints. Paint a triangle black nose and two 1-inch-thick black stripes across your forehead.
Put the orange top and bottoms, including attached tail, on and pull your hood and ears up. Wear your socks.
Fold the 2 foot by 2 inch black material in half, so it is 1 foot by 2 inches. Sew the two long edges together. Push the pipe cleaner inside the material, then sew up the short edge. Sew this edge to the centre of the seat of the black bottoms. Bend the pipe cleaner, so the monkey's tail looks curly.
Use black face paint to draw a big cheeky chimp smile on your face.
Put your top and bottoms, with tail attached, on and pull your hood up. Put your black shoes on.
