Every year, women spend money on beauty products that promise to clean pores and soften skin. Beauty products usually contain harsh ingredients that are drying or irritating to many skin types, so an alternative would be to make your own products using everyday items found in the kitchen. Egg whites and honey are common ingredients in homemade beauty products, because they clear and tighten pores and improve the health of the skin. Making your own pore strips with natural products is simple and saves you money.

- Tissue paper
Cleanse and steam your face as usual to remove any surface dirt or make-up. This step allows the pore strips to remove excess dirt and oil more easily.
Separate two eggs, and put the whites into a small mixing bowl. Add 1 tsp honey, and stir thoroughly until the mixture becomes slightly frothy.
Apply the mixture to your skin, especially concentrating on the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin), which is often the oiliest area of your face.
Cut a piece of tissue paper into three strips, and then press them horizontally onto your forehead, nose and chin. Leave on for approximately 10 minutes.
Peel away the three strips from your face, and rinse the skin with a washcloth and warm water. Moisturise as usual.
