And like most other quality headphones, the Sennheiser HD 600's ear pads are designed to be replaced without any complicated procedures --- and the removable audio cables make the ear pads even more accessible.

- Sennheiser Replacement Pads (for HD650, HD600 and HD580)
Lay your HD 600 headphones on a soft surface, such as couch or a table covered by cloth. Hold the headphones so that the left speaker's exterior contacts your work surface.
Hold down the left speaker with one hand, while gripping the base of the left speaker's ear pad with the other hand. Pull the padding of the out and away from the speaker.
Flip the headphones over, so that the right speaker's exterior contacts the work surface. Remove the second ear pad in the same manner used to remove the first pad.
Keep the HD 600 positioned on is side. Place a replacement ear pad on top of the speaker that contacting the work surface. Carefully pull the replacement pad over the speaker, working the pad around the side of the speaker until the speaker is completely covered by the pad.
Flip the headphones over and fit the other speaker with the second replacement pad.
Tips and warnings
