Malaysia Airlines, among other airlines, uses the e-ticket, or electronic ticket, option, which does not require the printing of actual paper tickets. The traveller, however, should check in via the Internet on the airline's website or via mobile device prior to the flight. Confirming a flight makes check-in at the airport speedier and assures the traveller that his personal reservation is confirmed. Confirming Malaysia Airlines ticket takes only a few minutes.

Look for the grey menu bar on top of the new website, which opens after you clicked on "Enter." Roll your mouse over "Check-In" on that tab. You will see five different check-in options. 5. 5

Check off the passenger or passengers you want to check-in by clicking on the box next to their names. This can be either you if you are travelling alone, or additional passengers who are travelling with you if the reservation was done for more than one person.
