As with other multi-track audio editors, Acoustica's Mixcraft features the ability to record and edit audio on virtual audio tracks. Mixcraft also allows you to generate as many audio track as needed. You can edit each track with Mixcraft's built-in tools and add audio effects to the tracks, using native and external plug-ins. When your project is complete, Mixcraft features the ability to mix it down to a single MP3 file.

Click on the Mixcraft file to load the file in Mixcraft --- download a copy of Mixcraft if you don't already have it (see "Resources").
Click on the "Mix Down" button --- you'll find the button located at the top of the program, next to the "Zoom In" and "Zoom Out" buttons.
Select a folder location to store your convert MP3 file, using the "Save Your Mix" file explorer window.
Enter a name for the MP3 file into the "File name" field, located near the bottom of the "Save Your Mix" menu. Select the "MP3 File (*.MP3)" option from the drop-down menu box labelled "Save as type."
Click on the "Save" button at the bottom of the "Save Your Mix" window to begin converting the Mixcraft file to MP3 format.
