The Yaesu FT-757GXII is a HF (high frequency) radio transceiver. You can use two microphones with the FT-757GXII--either the MD-1B8 Desktop Scanning Microphone or the MH-1B8 Handy Scanning Microphone. Either microphone must be purchased separately as they are not included with the FT-757GXII. Both microphones have the same connector, which is compatible with the FT-757GXII and allows you to tune directly from the microphone as opposed to the FT-757GXII receiver.
