BlackBerry users can customise their smart phones to suit their own personalities. One of the features that allow users to do this is colour. Users can change the colours and apply themes to the text messaging centre in a BlackBerry. Users can choose from a colour wheel or create their own colour schemes.

Click the "Message List" button. This is on the left hand side of the Inspector panel.
Click "List Stripe." This will display the colour swatch.
Select a colour from the "Color Picker" to use as a display for your message lists. You can select a different colour to correspond with separate rows.
Specify a colour by selecting the "RGB" tab for red, green and blue. Use the "HSB" tab to specify the hue, saturation and brightness of the colour you selected. Alternatively, the "CMYK" tab will allow you to select from Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black colour slides.
Click the "Web" tab to make your colour safe and efficient to use for the web.
