Dolphin is a Nintendo Wii and Nintendo GameCube emulator that allows you to play these gaming consoles on your computer. Dolphin Emulator supports gaming keyboards, the regular keyboard, a mouse, a Wiimote and third-party game controllers. You have the ability to play the Dolphin emulator with a Nyko game controller by using the emulator's "GCPad" to configure your controller.

Skill level:

  1. 1

Plug in your Nyko controller into a free USB port on your computer.

  2. 2

Launch Dolphin emulator from your desktop.

  3. 3

Click "GCPad" on the Dolphin tool bar.

  4. 4

Click "Device" drop-down list and then click your Nyko game controller.

  5. 5

Configure your Nyko game controller. You can configure the face buttons, C-stick, D-pad, Main stick and the triggers in this section. For Example, press a button such as "A" in the "Buttons" column and then press a button on your Nyko game controller to configure. You only have a few seconds to configure a button before you have to restart the process over again.

  6. 6

Click "Save" to save the configuration. This configuration is the default configuration when you play a game on the Dolphin emulator.
