The Indesit IS70C dryer is a tumble dryer that features a water condensing tray that allows it to be installed in a spot without a water drain. The steps for installing an Idesit IS70C dryer are fairly simple. No special tools are required, nor must any plumbing be hooked up. The main point to remember when installing one of these dryers is to leave plenty of room for air circulation so that the dryer can work properly.

  1. 1

Find an appropriate location for the dryer. It should not be located next to cooktops, heaters or other appliances with an open flame.

  2. 2

The dryer must have enough space around its sides and top. This dryer requires at least 10 millimetres, or 2/5ths of an inch, of space at the top of the unit, and 15 millimters, or 3/5ths of an inch, of space on the sides of the unit.

  3. 3

Change the door hinges, if necessary. Exchange the hinges by removing and replacing them in the opposite side of the dryer diagonally.

  4. 4

Plug the dryer into a grounded outlet. The plug should not be connected to an extension cord or any other type of extension.

  5. 5

Keep objects away from the dryer's front air inlet and back of the machine.
