Babies grow so fast. Before you know it they'll be budding little preschoolers and their infant days will be come faint memories. One way to remember these precious moments is to create hand and foot prints with ink. These prints will last a lifetime and can be used to add a special touch to many gifts and projects. Thank you cards, scrapbooks, and announcements are just a few items that baby hand and foot ink prints can add a special touch to.

  • Ink pad
  • Wipes
  • Wash cloth
  • Mild soap cleanser

    Purchase a baby-safe foot and hand print ink kit. These kits contain non-toxic, acid-free and smudge proof. They can be found in the baby department of your local department store.

    Wipe the baby's hands and feet with baby wipes to ensure they're free from oil and dirt. Take one hand press it onto the ink pad and then onto the item you want to copy her prints onto. When transferring the print, press firmly and then hold or a few seconds. Repeat these steps for the remaining hand and feet.

    Wash off the leftover ink from the infants hands and feet. You can use a wash cloth with a mild soap or baby wipes to remove the ink.
