  • Dried orange peels
  • Cheese cloth
  • Tea light candle
  • Oil burner

  1. 1

Crush the cinnamon sticks and manually crumble the dried orange peels into small pieces, making sure they do not turn into powder. Fill the mason jar halfway with the crushed mixture.

  2. 2

Fill the rest of the mason jar with cold pressed almond oil.

  3. 3

Seal the mason jar tightly and store it in a warm place, ideally between 20 and 23.9 degrees Celsius, for one week. Good places to store the jar include a window sill where sunlight comes in or on top of the refrigerator. Shake the jar twice a day.

  4. 4

Move your oil mixture jar to a dark place and store it there for another week. Do not shake the jar during this week.

  5. 5

Remove the oil mixture jar from the dark place after one week. Open another empty mason jar and strain the oil mixture through the cheesecloth carefully. Squeeze the cheesecloth thoroughly to extract all the oil.

  6. 6

Place a few drops of your oil into an oil burner and light a candle underneath it. Enjoy the fragrance.
