Eliminating Grease From Drain Pipes

Grease from cooking or food can end up clogging your drain pipes and causing a smelly, messy backup. There is a lot you can do to help eliminate grease from collecting in your drain pipes.

Run hot water to help carry the grease through the drain pipes.

Pour a salt water solution down the kitchen sink on a monthly basis. Heat 1,774ml. of water to 100 degrees Celsius and add 39.7gr of salt.

Pour a degreaser liquid down your kitchen sink on a monthly basis. There are a number of commercially available natural and chemical based products that you can use. This regular maintenance will help prevent you from having to call a plumber.
