Every model year of the Mercedes-Benz C320 is equipped with an on-board computer that tracks various conditions within the vehicle. Two of these conditions are the regular maintenance intervals and the brake pad sensors. When regular maintenance needs to be done, a service reminder is displayed. When the brake pad sensor indicates that new brake pads are needed, a brake reminder is displayed. After either of these situations are resolved, the message needs to be reset so the computer can keep track of current conditions.
