How to use fudge paintbox
Fudge Paintbox offers vibrant colour and conditioning for your hair. (red hair young girl image by ennavanduinen from Fotolia.com)

Fudge Paintbox is hair colour in a tube. It stains the cuticle layer of the hair and is best used on already bleached hair for vibrant colour. Fudge Paintbox can be used on natural hair, but the results are not so dramatic. This product does not contain ammonia or peroxide and does actually condition the hair. The colours include Purple Haze, Whiter Shade of Pale, Pretty Flamingo and Red Corvette.

Instructions

  1. 1

Test a strand of hair before using Fudge Paintbox for safety, colour vibrancy and depth.

  2. 2

Wash and towel-dry hair. Squeeze the Fudge Paintbox colour into a bowl. Using a tint brush, apply the colour evenly to the hair, being careful not to stain the scalp or skin. Take particular care around the neck and areas close to the face.

  3. 3

Comb the colour through the hair using the wide-tooth comb. Leave it for 15 to 30 minutes, depending on depth of colour required, hair type and results of strand test.

  4. 4

Rinse the hair thoroughly, keeping it away from the face and using warm water. Shampoo and condition.
