Couch grass is a grass usually consumed in the form of liquid or powder. This grass is high in vitamins and nutrients and is ingested by many for its health benefits to the body. Couch grass has external benefits as well. It can be used to relieve an itchy scalp as well as restore shine and lustre to hair. Couch grass juice can also keep hair from greying and restore colour to grey and dull hair.

    Purchase some couch grass from your local health food store. Look for it in the fresh produce section.

    Cut the green leaves into tiny pieces and put them into a juicer. Let the leaves mix together until they become juice. Only a small amount is needed to receive the benefits.

    Soak hair completely with water by rinsing it for about half a minute. Rub some couch grass juice on the scalp of your head.

    Massage the juice into your hair and scalp gently with your fingertips. Let it sit for three minutes and rinse hair thoroughly.
