"Hackintosh" is a term used to describe a computer not made by Apple that is running a version of the Mac OS X operating system. If you have a PC, for example, you can use this technology to install the Mac OS X operating system on it. Hackintosh allows you to use all functions of the Apple operating system on non-Apple machines, including the "Sleep" mode.
