How to Clean a Kid's Bouncy Castle

Updated February 21, 2017

A kid's bouncy castle provides a safe place for children to play and have fun without risk of injury. Just like any other play area, the castle needs to be cleaned regularly to remove dirt and germs that accumulate during play. When cleaning, you want to use something safe for use on the castle surface but also something chemical-free that will not harm your children. Instead of purchasing a chemically based disinfectant make your own from natural ingredients.

Fill a spray bottle with about 3 cups water, 1 cup white vinegar and 2 tsp dish soap. Shake to dissolve the soap.

Spray the mixture over the bouncy castle surface and wipe off with a damp cleaning rag.

Continue until the entire castle is clean and allow the surface to air dry before using again. This is important, as the castle surface can sometimes be slippery when wet.
