Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) is the standard protocol used by cellular service providers to send messages that contain multimedia components. MMS is used to send pictures, audio, video and other types of multimedia content between mobile phones. T-Mobile is a cellular service provider that offers MMS messaging to its customers. If you purchased your phone from T-Mobile, the phone is preset with the settings necessary to send MMS messages. If, however, you are a T-Mobile customer using a non T-Mobile branded phone, you will need to manually change the settings on your phone so that you can send MMS messages using the T-Mobile network.
