How to Make an Edible Shotglass

We often use limes and salt in order to take away the harsh taste of alcohol. Edible shot glasses are an even better way to remove the taste. Shot glasses that you can eat can be created using Gummi Bears and will be ready to use within 2 hours.

Things you need

  • Silicone shot glass mold
  • Gummi bears (16 oz.)
  • Microwave
  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Cornstarch

    Separate the bears by color.

    Place one set of colored Gummi Bears in a microwave-safe bowl.

  3. 3

    Microwave the Gummi Bears for about 1 minute or until they have liquefied.

    Spoon the melted Gummi Bears into the silicone shot glass mold.

    Tap the table so that the liquid is even along the top.

    Place the mold into the freezer for an hour and a half.

    Remove the shot glasses by flipping the mold upside down and turning the molds inside out.

    Use your shot glasses.

Tips and warnings

  • When using your shot glasses, try to keep them cool so they don't get sticky. If your shot glasses do get sticky, roll them in 2 tsp. of cornstarch.
