Unlock the long levers on either side of the machine. Pull them up to the desired position for the exercise you wish to perform. You can lock them vertically, horizontally, or at several diagonal positions. Lock them back in place.
Perform standard strength training exercises with the pulley, straight bar and rope attachments. Possible exercises include the low row, bicep curl, triceps extension, leg extensions and high pulls.
Lock the levers back down to either side of the machine.
Unlock the chair that lies across the base of the machine. Bring it to a tilted sitting position. Lock it in place.
Sit in the chair. Hold the sides of the machine with either hand and tighten your stomach as you press the chair back. This exercise is a reverse sit-up.
