The Blackberry Bold is a smartphone that offers 3G network capabilities, a camera for video and still images, and a trackpad for easy navigation. There might be times when you need to unblock your BlackBerry so you can use it on a different carrier. If so, you must first obtain an unlock code from a third-party unlock service or your network provider. Phones with network locks cannot be used with other GSM carriers. By unblocking your cell phone, you have the freedom to use any SIM card with your Blackberry Bold.
